Zoom conferencing software

Zoom conferencing software is similar to Skype, FaceTime and Google Hangouts but seems to have some advantages in what it gives for free (multiple users) and ease of use over Hangouts.  At this point HC has some "Pro" versions but anyone can use the free version. One limitation of the free version is a 40 minute time limit for groups of more than 3, so if your meeting is longer than that, you will need to create a "part two" of the meeting.
Some features of Zoom:
  • To use Zoom you need to create a free Zoom account or login with your Google or Facebook ID
  • The software runs in your browser, a quick load, no need to have Admin rights to install
  • Simultaneous webcam and microphone sharing.
  • Screen-sharing.
  • Chat.
  • Breakout rooms.
  • Support for popular mobile devices.
  • Record and export meetings as MP4s.
  • Optimization of the user experience based on available Internet connection.
